Jeff TavangarPresident and CEO
Jeff Tavangar is the President and CEO of The Armada Group. Jeff provides the strategic vision for the company and leads business development efforts. Prior to starting Armada in 1995, Jeff was a top revenue producer for Surfsoft's engineering services practice and Heuristics Search contract staffing group. His major clients included Sun Microsystems, Adobe Systems, EDS, Hitachi, and Canon. He holds a Bachelors degree from the University of California, Irvine and is an active member of the TechServe Alliance. Jeff resides in Santa Cruz, CA with his wife Rasa, and two daughters. He is also an avid surfer, snowboarder, and mountain biker.
Lisa SullivanChief Operating Officer
Lisa Sullivan is the Chief Operating Officer at The Armada Group. As the COO, Lisa aims to further strengthen Armada's On Demand Talent service capabilities to meet the evolving needs of Armada's clients. Prior to her role as the COO, Lisa was The Armada Group's VP of Client Services responsible for sales management, recruitment, and customer relations. She successfully partnered with clients such as Cisco, Sony, CEA, and Harman International to ensure that all their IT infrastructure, application, software development, and project management needs were fulfilled. In addition, Lisa served as the Director of Business Development and started her career at Armada as a technical recruiter when she joined Armada in 1996. She is also an avid wakeboarder and runner with a passion for sports.
Shelley BacaDirector of HR & Administration
Shelley has served as the Director of HR & Administration since November 2012. She had previously served as Armada's HR Manager since January 2007. Prior to joining Armada, Shelley served as the HR, payroll, and benefits assistant at Campbell Lodging, Inc., a hotel management company, from May 1999 to December 2006. At Campbell Lodging, Inc., she executed the payroll and benefits of a multi-state corporation. In addition, she worked to improve and standardize processes, and procedures, in support of a growing organization. Shelley holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration / HR Management from San Jose State University. In 2008, she earned the designation of Professional in Human Resources. She enjoys traveling, cooking, soap-making, scrapbooking, remodeling/redecorating, and spending time with her family.
Crystal McKeeDirector of Talent Acquisition
Crystal McKee has served as the Director of Talent Acquisition since November 2012. Prior to her role, she had served as Armada's Recruiting Manager since July 2010 and as the Lead Technical Recruiter since May 2008. As the Lead Technical Recruiter, Crystal had worked to place skilled, technical talent for many of our clients. She has been recognized, by many, as a talented Technical Recruiter, excellent manager, and excellent coach who leads by example for her team. Crystal holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Marketing Management from San Francisco State University. She enjoys hobbies such as softball, CrossFit, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family, and friends.
Jennifer IrelandBusiness Development Manager
I started off my career in the fitness industry but, after 14 years, decided to seek new challenges elsewhere. The past 3+ years at The Armada Group has given me the opportunity to build upon my lifelong interest in technology while continuing to utilize my passion to help people. I started at The Armada Group as a recruiter and within a year was promoted to Business Development Manager. In my role as Business Development Manager, I have the privilege to work with many rapidly growing companies and startups to help them realize their growth potential. My goal is to provide an amazing client experience and build lasting relationships. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters while my active side enjoys working out and staying healthy.
Masha PerlsteinBusiness Development Manager
I started off my career in teaching and then moved into Event Sales and Planning when I moved to the Bay Area. I have always loved helping people and working at the Armada Group has provided me the opportunity to help people find the right career opportunities. I started out at the Armada Group as a recruiter and was promoted the next year as a Business Development Manager, working directly with clients at rapidly growing enterprise companies and start-ups to help them with their talent acquisition needs. When I am not building relationships with my clients, you can find me spending time with my husband, exercising, enjoying the outdoors, camping, hiking, spending time with friends, reading a good book or playing with my two dogs, Sandy and Simba.
