SILICON VALLEY, CA, January 25, 2011 - The Armada Group, the Silicon Valley consultancy that helps growing companies define and implement their cloud computing strategy, today announced that the company is continuing to enhance its leadership position with the addition of two information technology veterans to its technical leadership team.Haresh Parekh has been appointed as Chief Architect and Director of Engineering, and Brad Vaughan joins Armada as the Director of Cloud Migration Services and Solutions Architect.

Haresh Parekh has spent more than 18 years architecting, designing & implementing large-scale web applications/services (SaaS) for trail-blazing companies & institutions including eBay, Knowledge Universe, and the State of California. Haresh brings to Armada deep experience in enterprise application development, architecture, databases, and infrastructure.
Brad Vaughan has over 20 years of experience in information technology including more than a decade in lead technical roles at Sun Microsystems and Oracle. He has extensive experience in cloud computing, integrated hardware/software systems and open source solutions. Brad brings to Armada his proven success in global solutions architecture, managed services and consulting, including communications skills that span the gap between executive and technical and a unique combination of business knowledge and technical capabilities.
In additional news, The Armada Group also announces the appointment of Tim Johnson to the post of Director of Marketing. Tim has more than 20 years of experience in the software industry in marketing and channel sales roles with major cloud, security and systems management providers and writes the product marketing blog “It’s About Value.” He will be responsible for leading all aspects of Armada’s marketing efforts.
